The anchorage point can be looped over a steel support beam, structural wood member, or any structure deemed suitable by a competent person. The 4’ and 6’ cross arm strap can be used in a variety of fall protection applications like in a basket, saddle, or choker configuration and is a great addition to your fall safety kit as a reusable, reliable anchorage connector.

To install the beamer, simply wrap the strap around a steel beam, or similar structure, and pass the small D-Ring through the larger D-Ring to create an anchorage point that you’ll connect your lanyard or lifeline to. Once the small D-Ring is pulled through the pass-thru loop (the larger D-Ring), you have an anchor point that is both ANSI and OSHA compliant. Installation using multiple wraps of the Cross Arm Strap is also acceptable.

This strap is equipped with a heavy-duty wear pad to protect the structural webbing against abrasion, helping to increase service life of the fall protection device. The Cross Arm Strap is compatible for use with all ANSI rated lanyards and self-retracting lifelines, and the Malta Dynamics signature orange accent colors make it easy to locate even from ground level.
